My #1 Survival Preparedness Tip - Yes, Even Before Coffee :)

I Love, Love, Love the Magical and Powerful Ways that my intuition Helps me greet my day! Trusting my vibes is my #1 tool that supports me and helps me to be more prepared in all ways.

Understanding how to Trust Your Vibes, Your Intuition is, I believe, your number one survival skill...no doubt in all of my life's experience.

I grew up hearing the saying, "Always be prepared!" I never paid much attention unless I was on a big adventure like solving a neighborhood mystery in the spirit of Nancy Drew or Lois Lane. Our Heavenly Support Team understands that it takes people time to move into action, and I believe that they try to give you plenty of time to prepare in most instances. That is unless your Heavenly Support Team is trying to save you from walking in front of a moving bus, and it's not your time to have coffee in heaven. (Another crazy good adventure of mine that I will share soon).

I know it's time to pay attention and that my vibes are preparing me for...

The Wisdom of A Chid ~ What's their secret?

What is it about a child that is so inspiring? They seem to have this special joy that draws you into their magical space.  Have you ever wondered where your magical joy flew off to now that you are a responsible adult?

Children are born with a wide-open heart. They carry this inner knowing, and it is wise and joyful.   It's so yummy to be around.   To be in their presence can feel magical when they are locked on to God and trusting their vibes in all ways.

Have you ever thought about the fact that no one taught these children to act this way?   Children are naturally equipped to live their lives from their joy.

Do any of you remember hearing these song lyrics?

"I got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart, down my heart to stay!"

Maybe you learned them in your church growing up as I did.  I love this song as it moves me into my happy place every time I sing it!

Children are a wonderful example of living their life...

A Mom So Grateful She Trusted Her Vibes!

"OMG!  I am so grateful I trusted my vibes, Tracy!"

"My son almost choked on a stupid internet food challenge, and if I had not trusted my vibes, I would not have been here to help him!"

Sally,  a mom whom I have consulted with, had called me this week to thank me for supporting her in learning how to trust her vibes and listen to her gut feelings or intuition.  Sally had stood her ground when everything on the surface looked all good.

Our intuition, as I have experienced in my life, is our superpower to navigating our beautiful world.  It helps us guide us to amazing shopping bargains as you can read about my experience here. https://www.tracynicholas.com/blog/My#1 Rule for Back to School Shopping

Listening and trusting your intuition in Sally's story definitely supported her in keeping her son safe when he chose to take an action that was not in his best interest.

Sally shared that she, her husband and son were having dinner...

The Power of Nature ~ House Plants to Treat Depression and Anxiety

Spending time outside in nature has been my favorite place to go to feel rejuvenated since I was a small child.  I just knew instinctively that when I would go outside to play a game, take a walk or spend time sitting on my front porch (like I am doing right now) that I would feel calmer, peaceful, centered and present to the moment.

Throughout the ages, wisdom holders have shared with us the importance of spending time in nature to settle our body and minds so that we may hear the whispers of our soul.  Then we can open our hearts and listen to the truth that is trying to get our attention.   Time spent in nature is a wonderful way to calm the stress that in our modern world we can tend to carry in our bodies.

Technology in today's world is a wonderful blessing.  I am writing this right now on a computer, and I will send it to a website where you will most likely access the blog post on your computer or mobile phone.   Amazing...

This Tool Rules for Back -2- School Shopping!

Would you like to know how I made a slam-dunk this year when back to school shopping for my daughter?   It was amazing!   I love, love, love living my life this way!

I don't know about you, but for me, when it comes to shopping there are days that I enjoy taking my time looking for the perfect outfit or pair of rocking shoes.   However, there are days when my "to-do" list is overflowing.   On those days I need to be laser-focused to accomplish my goals for the day.

On this particular day, my daughter needed a new pair of tennis shoes and not any pair of tennis shoes as she was longing for a new pair of Nike Air Force Ones.  They were all the rage at her school.  She had been wanting a pair for almost a year now.  Since she needed a new pair, I decided that we would buy them for her back to school shoes.

After researching the shoes, let's just say they were definitely were not a cheap pair of tennis shoes.  I love the feel...

Back To School. . .Oh My!

Does it seem like the back to school date comes around sooner each year at your house?  It sure feels that way at our home.

We have been busy checking the list of all the supplies our kids need for college and middle school.   First up is our college-bound son, Evan as he has to be ready two weeks ahead of our middle school daughter Allie.

Our list consists of the usual requirements for kids; clothes, school supplies, bedding, computers, refrigerators for dorm rooms, foods that include plenty of healthy snack items that fit easily in a backpack.

As a parent, I often wonder if my kids are prepared to meet the challenges of the world.   Have we provided them with the tools they need when a new situation arises?

In times like these, when I turn to God and listen, I am gently reminded of the way to be at peace.

We work on creating a firm foundation with our family.   Our foundation is built on God's unconditional love and support...

So Grateful my Son parked in the "Wrong Spot."

Have you ever received a gift from the least expected place?   It happened to me this week, and it surprised me.

My son Evan who is home from college for summer break was the one who delivered the gift most unexpectedly.   Evan has always parked his truck along our center circle drive.  Only on this particular day, he parked on the road that I had to drive along to park in my garage.  That meant I had to drive around his truck to get in and out of my garage.

Not a huge deal.  Although it was a minor irritation to my ego, I am so used to having a straight shot out of my garage.  We get so attached to our patterns...

The surprise gift was delivered the day I had to go to the grocery store. It was a quick trip, as I was picking up a few needed items.

Summer is in full swing here in the south, and that means we have the most delicious array of fruits and vegetables from which to choose. When you walk in the front door of the grocery...

Why I Changed the Code on the Lock Box of My Heart

Why I Changed the Code on the Lock Box of My Heart.

When you travel to a new place with all the new sensations that the adventure brings one can experience a multitude of feelings. Excitement, wonder, joy, freedom along with a need to learn about the new environment to understand where the best places to travel and where one might want to explore with caution.

Checking the travel advisories like you check the weather advisory. Checking your list to make sure you have what you might need on your journey.   Do you need a raincoat, umbrella or do you need to detour around a particular area for a less eventful passage? As a child, I traveled the world with an air of certainty that God was always my guiding light and compass. My constant go to for help.

My relationship with God and Jesus were my home-base. I came into the world hard-wire with this natural relationship. No one taught it to me. Maybe you have a connection like that yourself with your home-base too or maybe you are...
